So its that time again, a new year and time to get cracking on booking your wedding entertainment. We understand that looking for the perfect band for your day can’t always be the simplest of tasks. Not only do you have to think about the band, but also styles, set-lists etc. So we here at wedding-entertainment.ie have put together a list of the most popular wedding bands (and our personal favourites:)

1: The Swing Cats
The Swing Cats are a 5 piece Swing band with a difference. This band really know how to create a fun and energetic atmosphere in any room, with crowd involvement a major part of their performance. Covering all the swing classics, including modern hits such as Michael Buble, Paolo Nutini, Sam Sparro, this band really has something for everyone.

2: Cross Town
Cross Town are a 5 piece new live wedding band. Although this band has just recently formed each of its members are recognized and highly accomplished musicians, having previously worked with such bands as The Love Bullets, Fresh Injection, Business As Usual, Seven Deadly Skins. If you are looking for a band to get your wedding party on the dance floor then this band is for you.

3: Jungle Boogie
Jungle Boogie are one of Ireland’s most accomplished wedding bands. Band leader Larry Hogan is an established producer, composer, musicians. He has previously played with the likes of Bono & Ronan Keating. This band cover a range of hits specializing in Rock n Roll. This deliver a polished and professional performance every time.

4: Streetlife
Streetlife a professional live band covering party hits to get your guests on the dance floor. This wedding band delivers a fun and energetic performance and they won’t break the bank.

5: Radioshack
Radioshack are one of the most professional live bands in the country. Each member of Radioshack is highly recognized within the Irish music industry, having played with the likes of Elton John, Tom Jones, Westlife, Boyzone to name but a few. If you are looking for a fun band that really get your crowd involved then Radiohshack are for you.

6: The Sazzy Katz
The Sazzy Katz are a 5 piece Rockabilly band. This band offers a live energetic show with sounds of Imelda May, Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis and Little Richard. If you are a looking for an alternative to the traditional wedding band then check this band out.
